Patrick J. Durkin is a graduate of Loyola University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Master of Science (Education) from State University College at Buffalo and his law degree from John Marshall Law School.
He has worked in the area of workers’ compensation since 1981, as a claims adjuster and then later as an attorney. He has resolved numerous workers’ compensation claims and has extensive litigation experience before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. Patrick has lectured on the topic of workers’ compensation and post-traumatic stress syndrome. He has given presentations about workers’ compensation to both management and employees. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Workers Compensation Lawyers Association.
