Charles G Haskins Jr. is a graduate of the University of Illinois and received his Juris Doctorate, with distinction, from John Marshall Law School in January 1976. His practice is concentrated in Workers’ Compensation, handling cases from trial through the Illinois Supreme Court. He is former Chairman of the Industrial Commission Section of the Chicago Bar Association and Past President of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association. A frequent lecturer on Workers’ Compensation, Mr. Haskins currently serves on the Board of Managers of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and was Chair of its Workers’ Compensation Committee from 1994 to 2010. Mr. Haskins is Editor of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association’s Workers’ Compensation Book. He is former Secretary of and serves on the Board of Directors of the Workers’ Injury and Law Advocacy Group, a national organization of attorneys representing injury workers. In 2011 he was elected to the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. Mr. Haskins is listed in the current editions of The Best Lawyers in America, Marquis’ Who’s Who in America, Marquis’ Who’s Who in American Law, Most Influential Individuals in the United States, Marquis’ Who’s Who in America, and Marquis’ Who’s Who in Finance and Industry. He is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale Hubbell. He has been nominated by the Leading Lawyers of the State of Illinois as being a top lawyer in his field of practice.
